The balancing act of Audio Union Döhmann Helix 1 turntable, Robert Koda Takumi K-10 preamplifier and MSB Select DAC 2. So what's happening on the upper echelon of digital and analog fronts ends? 

The differences are getting going more subtle on the both sides with having few of their own attributes. Conclusion? At this point my best advice at least to myself :), is to keep both sources. While I can fully comprehend that some could live with the digital alone. MSB Select 2 has proven itself on repeated occasions and that were the comments regarding its performance in my system from quite few trusted ears. No question about Select throne status in digital realms, but for me as reviewer and analog fan the reference analog antidote is both wanted and needed as huge chunk of my heart is still partial to analog. Mostly of being there factor and that highly dreamed transparency, that so many speakers and electronics are trying to push artificially...

Yet, I'm willing to admit openly that 21st century benefits of digital audio technology are finally here. Out for more refinement and digital system chain refining, but I can finally see the peek of the mountain from the distance...

Do note! Making digital act on its best behavior reached the point of complexity similar to analog where every little thing matters and sadly there are no place for oversimplified solutions or woodo...
