Tannoy 100% made in the U.K speakers update

A letter from ‎James Bradbury‎  about the brand new, 100% made in the U.K. range Tannoy Speakers.

Dear Friends,

"My name is James and I head up TANNOY Lifestyle worldwide. This (FB) community is incredibly important to us here at TANNOY, your knowledge and passion is inspiring and I would love to hear from you.

It was a dream come true for me to join TANNOY in October last year, my passion has always been music, my father was involved in the audio business for most of his working life. In fact my first summer job was despatching speakers from the HH Acoustics factory in Cambridgeshire. The connection with TANNOY runs deep as he was one of the biggest TANNOY exporters, selling TANNOY pro-audio products mostly to the Middle East and Africa… that connection continues as the company he founded still sells large volumes of TANNOY products.

It is an emotional experience for me to keep this connection in my life and I want to reach out to all of you and get your TANNOY stories and to know what you want from us.

Today, I am honoured to be able to offer you the chance to be some of the first people to see and listen to a brand new, 100% made in the U.K. range.

We will be showcasing a prototype speaker in a private setting near the Bristol Sound and Vision show, and I would love to invite some dedicated TANNOY fans to get your feedback and comments. There are some photos to whet your appetite showing some of the components that will be in this product and a picture of me in front of a Turnberry.

If you want to bring your favourite music, please do and we can listen together through these new speakers, we will have CD and Vinyl playback.

There will also be other TANNOY speakers, including a pair from our Prestige range – so if you’ve always wanted to hear your cherished track through the best speakers in the world, now is your chance!

Come along, kick back and enjoy in a relaxed environment with like-minded friends.

We will provide some refreshments and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Here are the details:

We will have a dedicated listening party on Friday the 24th of February, in a private room close to Bristol Sound and Vision Show.

If you want to come along to meet us and make some new friends , please e-mail our amazing head of PR who will confirm your place: bjorg.agustsdottir@music-group.com

As the venue is very small there will be limited spaces available so it will be a first come first served.

I can’t wait to see you there!"

James
