This product release note affects the following components:
- 'Paeonia' Passive Pre-amplifier (Revision 2.1)
- 'Bosangwha' NIGC Mono-block amplifier (Revision 2.3)
Paeonia Revision 2 changes include:
- Some mechanical/ construction improvements
- Use of low impedance potentiometers
- Implements Sfernice P11s configured in a Shunt/ Fake Law arrangement
- Use of hand-made next-generation low noise audio resistors in the signal path
The Paeonia Revison 2 changes allow for better tracking at low listening levels and improved channel balancing, more detailed.
Bosangwha Revision 2 changes include:
- Some mechanical/ construction improvements
- New high-speed PCB substrate was selected from a number of exotic substrate materials we tried
- Improved specification of copper tracing on the board Improved/ simplified circuit layout reducing resistance further
- Larger ground plane
- Single ground connection achieved
- Use of hand-made next-generation low noise audio resistors in the signal path
- Use of Silver Gold conductor foils for both input and output
