Digital is in
A new package from Louis Motek just came in. The LessLoss Digital Cable is the latest addition to the well-established and outstanding cable offerings from this company. You can read my reviews of the LessLoss power cables and interconnect/speaker cables here and here. LessLoss cables do make more than a significant difference. These are the cables that so far have impressed the most critical "non-believers" in a matter of seconds, showing just how cables do indeed influence sound quality. I look forward to hearing where Mr. Motek will take us with this step in into digital cable territory. Full review is coming up in due time.
"The LessLoss high performance digital cable is for 75 Ohm coaxial S/PDIF connections (also available in a 110 Ohm version for AES/EBU signals with XLR connectors). It features advanced shielding and a reflection-attenuation network. These work together to prevent the losses caused by high-frequency induction and high-frequency reflection within a cable. This allows depth, detail, and clarity to be presented in a way that allows digital audio to sound more laminar than ever."
