CABLE4YOU Thunder "reference power cable"


CABLE4YOU Thunder is a reference, multiple shielded, high-speed and dynamic power cable of a new generation of CABLE4YOU audiophile products. Thunder is a result of many years of experience in the development, application of different measurement techniques and plenty of time of comparing tests.

CABLE4YOU´s power cables are designed to solve a completely different set of problems than audio cables. An ideal audio cable would pass the entire frequency range without alteration. An ideal power cable would pass only the 50Hz or 60Hz AC power, while blocking all other frequencies, thus preventing power line noise and harmonics from degrading the sound quality of the audio system.

During development of cable Thunder, main priority was producing an uncompromised and referential power cable! Not looking at the costs related to manufacturing processes and work hours. Process for the producing of one Thunder cable requires many days of hand assembly.

Thunder is made only from top quality materials and components. Conductors of cable Thunder are produced from OFHC with very high clearness and modified structure of very long grains. Low incidence of grain boundaries the signal passes without impediment or distortion. OFHC conductors which has calibre 10 and 11 AWG actualizes high-power signal transmission. Each conductor is made of of many times braided thin OFHC wires. The Thunder is very flexible owing to the multiwire conductors.

The spiral geometry of the cable Thunder does also account for significant lowering of the cable's inductance and the short pitch twisting protects cable from magnetic fields. Thunder is covered by a brand new multilayer screen, which guarantees 100% efficiency in protection against EMI and RFI noise.

CABLE4YOU accomplished positive results by applying NIESS™ (Non-Interference-Effective-Shielding-Structure) shielding structure to power cables. Considering customer demands and trends, we pursued producing model Thunder with a new scientific technology, modified as system DECAMERO™.

The ten-layered noise protection composite system DECAMERO™ is composed of special combination of copper and aluminium foils. A copper foil shielding is set as the first layer to protect the conductor from external noise. Aluminum has much higher thermoconductivity and much lower density than other materials, and this ensures that the internal temperature of the cable rapidly achieves the temperature of the surface. The material insures good thermoconductivity and very rapid warm up in the desorber layers.

After the deep analysis for insulator, we developed the six-layered insulation and anti-vibration composite system CARACOL™ . CARACOL™ is composed of special combination of Mylar, POE (polymer polyolefin), and special rubber composite. Moreover, system CARACOL™ has a much better permittivity compared to common materials and we paid careful attention to strengthen the cohesiveness of its insulator and conductor in order to infill random space and maintain a high-quality signal transmission.

The result of this technology is a new level of power transmission efficiency coupled to superb mechanical damping and rejection of external RFI/EM interference.

Thunder is recommended as a reference cable for powering the whole audio system, primarily for high power amplifiers.
