Aries Cerat Impera preamplifier

A peak under the hood of Aries Cerat mighty Impera preamplifier. Impera is a brainchild of the electronic wizard Stavros Danos. No shortcuts here and implementation on NEW Inverted Triode stage…

"The Impera II’s output stage, uses an Inverted Triode stage. The inverted triode , is triode tube which uses it’s three basic elements in a complete different way. Instead of being consisted a wired grid between the cathode and plate, controlling the electron flow, the inverted triode operates in a way that, the electron flow is unobstructed from cathode to anode,no grid exist between. Instead ,a wired grid structure forms the ‘’plate’’ , and outside of the cathode-plate assembly, a large plate uses a large negative potential to “push” electrons away from the grid-structured anode. This is the control element."

Stay tuned for more with the Impera II review coming on later this year...
