Just listening to Yehudi Menuhin with Paris Symphony (Orchestre Sypmphonique) orchestra under the baton of George Enescu from 1936. Not the exact high resolution recording as we’re used to these days, but the this particular mono version radiates with romantic mood and exemplary Menhuin performance despite his pre twenties. This is a real gem as George Enescu is also taking the role of the performer… What a treat!
