Bluemoon Audio Technology ML Modular Loudspeakers event

On Saturday May 6, 2016 Sophos, official distributor of Blue Moon Audio Technology organized the official listening event for music lovers. They presented Bluemoon Audio Technology ML Modular series of loudspeakers and all enthusiasts were able to experience the “revolutionary modularity” of these speakers.

ML Modular consists of three basic modules; Teewter, Midrange-Alto and Midrange-Basso. Four different models differs only in the number of modules being used and they reflects the design principles of the larger LS 3 (Line source 3).

Modules can be stacked on top of each other and each model uses its own dedicated crossover.

Models:

ML 1 – 3 way – 1 module woofer + 1 module bass-midrange + 1 module tweeter

ML 2 – 4 way – 1 module woofer + 1 module bass-midrange + 1 module high-midrange + 1 tweeter module

ML 3 – 4 way – 1 module woofer + 2 module bass-midrange + 2 module high-midrange + 1 tweeter module

ML 4 – 4 way – 2 module woofer + 2 module bass-midrange + 2 module high-midrange + 2 tweeter modules

During the listening it was possible to distinct acoustic differences of all four configurations. Their sound performance differs, but still share same brand’s DNA. Blue Moon Audio Technology embraces great dynamics, transparency, natural timbre, wide spread sound-stage and correct positioning of the performers in the space as their main sound focus along with sonic realism that translates to the believable rendition of performers physical presence on the stage.
