Purity of early, acoustical delta blues brings out the primal emotional mood, that is hardly reflected with any other genre resonating on the brink of poignancy, remorse and sorrow, yet somehow for me the it falls into the mandatory safer side of human balancing…
Not many might known, but Dark Was the Night by inspired a timeless classic Paris, Texas soundtrack by Ry Cooder. Later on Blind Willie Johnson was revived by Peter, Paul and Marry with If I Had My Way that was a great hit in 60’s.
