One of the biggest surprises that Matthieu Latour from Nagra prepared for me during my visit to Nagra was a visit to Claude Nobs chalet. Claude was hearth and mind behind Montreux Jazz festival and this amazing place reflects his lifetime achievements and shows what deep friendships he shared with most iconic persons from jazz and music industry. What this man did for many musicians is unprecedented and astonishing amount of relics across the five story chalet are living proofs of that.
Claude Nobs was closely connected with Mr. Kudelski and Nagra team via Montreux Jazz festival and you can see many legendary and contemporary Nagra electronics everywhere.
The impact of this unforgettable place and one of the kind energy surrounding this temple of the music still lingers with me. Amazing...
