ANNLIES SCHMIDT DE NEVEU

The German cellist Annlies Schmidt de Neveu, pupil of Emanuel Feuermann, recorded these two Brahms cello sonatas in 1960 with the pianist Rolf Knieper, (a member of Karlsruhe Knieper Trio), that was pupil of Eduard Erdmann, Edwin Fischer, and Claudio Arrau. This is a superb interpretation. - Saulo Zucchello
