VikingSoundWave has officially set sails towards new borders. With our new design and high-end sound, VikingSoundWave is ready to supply the hi-fi market with a speaker of high quality; the Disa model. VikingSoundWave will pleasure any hi-fi enthusiast’s cravings; the speakers are wrapped in leather which, with the provided increase in sound quality, satisfies both ears and eyes.
Speaking of the design, the cabinet used, 4 Layer Kombi Material Bass Reflex Cabinet, is made with an angle on the front baffle, so we improve the phase linearity, thus causing the units to play in tact with the crossover.
The Core:
The crossover is a 12 dB Linkwitz/Riley with incorporated T.I.M. reduction circuits. T.I.M. is an advanced correct phase crossover circuit with ultra-high specified quality components.
Frequencies:
The tweeter is a 38mm ring radiator with ultimate step response, and has a neodymium motor system with a T-shaped pole piece which gives low distortion.
For the mid and low frequencies, we used 6-inch woven mineral cone with excellent internal damping and extremely linear frequency response.
The optimized centre bullet reduces compression due to temperature variations in the voice coil.
The lower suspension is placed to reduce sound reflection air flow noise and keep cavity resonance to a minimum.
