Acoustic Signature AVC technology

The Acoustic Signature AVC technology (Automatic Vibration Control) explained. Every rotating motor generates vibrations which are transmitted to the chassis and platter. To minimize these effectively the vibrations must be ‘balanced’.

The AVC technology can measure the resulting distortions in real-time and automatically adjusts the phase shifts to the motor signals. This digitally monitored corrective measure ensures a drastic reduction in vibrations, especially with multi-motor concepts.

On the image above, the Acoustic Signature Ascona NEO is equipped with three integrated, isolated AC motors. The turntable reaches AVC Level 3 of Acoustic Signature Automatic Vibration Control technology. The image shows colored belts and pulleys to clarify the three motors that are synchronized by AVC.
