New JICO CUSTOM SHOP SETO-HORI REMODEL MC Cartridge

JICO CUSTOM SHOP SETO-HORI REMODEL MC Cartridge (estimated price 4k+ USD) is a unique technological fused balance of Traditional Japanese Craftsmanship & Cutting-edge Engineering. "SETO-HORI REMODEL" emphasizes integration of the cartridge with the headshell for a true precise sound, the center of gravity is positioned directly on the tonearm's centerline for maximum sensitivity when tracing a record. Based on the technology developed to precisely regulate the vibration system of NEUMANN's cutting heads, the headshell & cartridge is merged into a single unit to optimize the advantages of JICO's original MC cartridge "SETO-HORI."

The headshell & cartridge are now combined in the SETO-HORI REMODEL model.

This extensive approach to employ the vibration system & magnetic field characteristics allow the groove of a vinyl record to be picked up & reproduced with an extraordinary level of resolution.

Micro Ridge + Boron Cantilever

The "Micro Ridge Diamond Tip" has a polyhedral shape & a life span that is more than three times that of a standard record stylus. The cantilever is constructed of Boron, a material with exceptional elasticity & the ability to replicate low-frequency frequencies.

Cartridge/Setomono Housing

In addition to its insulating properties, low permeability & high coercive force, the ceramic case provides the most comprehensive protection of the fine magnetic field characteristics within the MC cartridge.

Headshell

An alloy of aluminum & copper that was completely machined by a 5-axis machine to create a single-piece body with uniform vibration characteristics.

Lead Wire

The Lead Wires manufactured by Koike Analog Factory.

To fulfill our commitment to excellence, the case design was exclusively created by HESORABO, an authentic Japanese Workshop based in Taketa City, Kyushu Japan, utilizing new innovating production technologies such as 3D printers and laser cutters.

The packaging for the SET-HORI Remodel is significantly influenced by the overall product performance.  With this unique case design, we aim to create an excellent first impression that matches the quality of the product.
