Jorma Audio Introduces NFC Enabled Tags.

Jorma Audio writes. “At a time when it’s increasingly difficult to tell what is real and what is not, we want to offer our clients some assurance. We are introducing electronic tagging technology to track and authenticate our products. This means that you can check your cable is genuine, with one simple scan.”

Trust in us

Making sure that you can enjoy an authentic product is very important to us, because we spend many hours creating each cable using high quality materials and components. This is something our craftsmen have refined and perfected over many years. These are skills and experience that cannot be copied.

The Solution

We have partnered with Selinko to develop a solution to protect the authenticity of our products. Jorma cables now use a digital tagging system so you can be sure the product you have is truly authentic.

Jorma cables now feature a tag using NFC technology to track and trace each product. We will be introducing this in 2023.

The tag system has been developed from proven technology — tried and tested for over 20 years in the banking industry — featuring a secure platform, NFC protected chips and tamper-proof tags.

Each tag is assigned a unique digital ID that cannot be copied or replaced — it can be tracked anywhere in the world. When it does reach its destination the tag can be scanned for authenticity by an NFC enabled smartphone.

What is NFC?

Near Field Communication (NFC) is a standard technology that enables data to be exchanged between two chips: one contained in the mobile phone and the other in the connected product.
