“In this issue you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at some of our storage areas and parts inventory-we are constantly machining, procuring, and cataloging spare parts for the complex process required to make each Magico loudspeaker. You’ll also see some of the steps in the production of our newest S Series speaker: the S3.
Pairs of S3s have been populating showrooms and private listening spaces worldwide-l’m excited for you to hear it. Next, our very own Peter Mackay, Vice President Global Sales and Marketing, is profiled and shares some insights on his career and passion for the industry-we are very proud of Peter and hope you enjoy learning more about him. The final page of Magico Magazine Vol. 2 is a classic Magico ad titled “Magic of the Hive,” which appeared in 2021 and ushered in a new era of Magico driver construction-the Gen 8 Nano-Tec cone.
Finally, I want to mention the article which forms the heart of this issue: “The Magico M7: The Heir Apparent.” The M7 is one of the most ambitious projects l’ve undertaken and, along with my dedicated staff of engineers and craftspeople, we’ve created a loudspeaker I’m personally thrilled with. Magico Brand Ambassador Jeff Fritz spent a day with the M7 in the Magico listening room recently and you can read about his experience in Vol. 2’s feature article. To say I am proud of what we have produced at Magico with the M7 project would be a massive understatement.
As we head into the heart of winter, I am warmed by the fact that Magico’s offices, production areas, machine shop, and testing and R&D labs, are bustling with activity. My promise to you is that the world’s most advanced and musically satisfying speakers will continue to roll out of our factory.
Just wait till you see— and hear-what comes next from my team at Magico, LLC.”
