Thomas Mayer’s new amplifier with TM300B tubes is under development. Mayer has been testing a new concept for a tube power amplifier optimized for systems with extremely sensitive speakers. The upcoming amplifier will use TM300B as output tubes and the circuit will be completely free of capacitors in the signal path. Above you can see a photo of the prototype that is used for testing some variants and evaluation.
