It took quite a while for the Supersense A Love Supreme Master Cut completely unedited 1:1 copy of the original tape provided by Universal Music to arrive. Yes, this is an expensive item and I paid full price for it, but each copy is cut in real-time on a lacquer disc with a metal core produced by my MDC, JAPAN. John Coltrane is my favorite jazz musician and A Love Supreme is one of the most iconic albums and one of those rare gems that I can pull out whenever my mind needs to be brought back in sync with reality.
I’ll write more about the listening experience when the stars align, but everything about this release is top-notch.
Recorded in December 1964 at Van Gelder Studios in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, USA, this record has been selected from the Universal Music Archive for Supersense Archival Tape Edition.
