It’s here! XtraX, the latest MC flagship cartridge from Vertere Acoustics features a nude micro-elliptical diamond stylus and telescopic cantilever, with a one-piece aluminum chassis and four-point generator mounting.
The cartridge is not yet fully broken in, but already the level of harmonic density, sheer dynamism, and resolution provided so many head-shaking and goosebump-inducing moments that I had to rediscover album after album yesterday and spent last night sleepless.
All of these plus additional virtues work seamlessly as a harmonious whole without disrupting the flow of the music.
