This makes a world of difference in effective moving mass. Also included is a special low weight secondary counterweight which allows together with the Magnesium headshell extremely precise fine tuning of spring-mass system.

This is of course also of benefit not exclusively for DS Audio cartridges, but also for a number of other brands with rather medium to medium-soft compliance and not high body weight.
