What makes the new Jupiter model stand out?
New enclosure – completely redesigned enclosure interior with separated chambers, diffusers and reinforcements for better acoustics.
Advanced power transistors – the transistors used are Exicon MOSFET ECW20P20 and ECW20N20, such as those found in devices from renowned companies such as Bakoon and Goldmund.
Proprietary electronics – custom Toshiba N-Channel JFET input transistors, gold-plated PCBs, extremely simplified filter circuit without input capacitors.
Top-class components – Jupiter capacitors with copper foil and paper insulation in the signal path, and Mundorf M-Lytic in the power supply and Siemens Styroflex 1% NOS capacitors.
A custom-made transformer – with a power of nearly 500W, primary windings made of copper wires, secondary windings output made of silver-plated copper with Teflon insulation, double mu-metal shielding, and a high-carbon steel can, a copper screen between the secondary and primary windings, anti-vibration resin potting.
Exclusive connectors – the Jupiter model uses Furutech power and XLR sockets, no fuse, instead a special Schurter circuit breaker is used.
Reference-quality cabling and custom drivers – Duelund internal conductors: 16AWG for the woofers and silver solid-core for the tweeters; speaker cones coated with C37 lacquer for optimized sound. Driver modifications – revised tweeter chamber and damping material, additional basket damping, and added copper short-circuited coils in the woofers.
Advanced internal damping – a mixture of natural and synthetic materials: aramid fibers Angel Hair (approx. 1 kg!), cotton wool, special open cells foam, bituminous mats and EMC screens.
Solid Bases – Includes solid six-foot bases for stability and insulation.
