After two years of development, everything about the Ypsilon S100 is uniquely and in-house engineered.
Powered by Ypsilon’s newly developed operating system, engineered specifically for streaming and music playback, the S100 pairs seamlessly with a custom hardware design that allows the decoupling of the computing system from the digital audio output. This architecture enables audio signals to be directly driven by dedicated best in class clock oscillators for each frequency family, rather than by timing alone. The result is a level of timing accuracy, jitter performance, and noise control beyond that of conventional off-the-shelf solutions.
The S100 relies on carefully designed discrete, linear regulators driven by in-house wound transformer and filter and is operated through a companion mobile app, allowing the listener to select their preferred playback software.
