To ensure proper stability, the 40 mm thick, solid modular metal framework system of Pillartech Audio was built on a wider-than-expected base panel. At the junctions of the base and the vertical framework elements, we use 60 × 15 mm stabilizing modules, which make the entire system rigid. Between the 100 mm wide modules of the vertical pillar system, there are 10 mm wide impact-carbon-steel modules. The static combination of the aluminum alloy (Perunal) and the carbon steel binder alloy creates an ideal vibration-damping environment.
The unique design allows additional modules to be added to the system, making the height easy to adjust. The exceptionally rigid framework of the loudspeaker stand is special because it is made from a combination of two metal alloys with high precision, resulting in outstanding rigidity and stability.
This unique construction leads to improved performance, especially in the dynamic bass and midrange, which are more open and less constrained compared with traditional stands that use hollow steel feet. The stereo imaging and precise timing draw attention to the controlled, well-defined performance of the bass.
