NEW ELECTROSTATIC SPEAKERS: Emperor, Czar and Prinz
The first breakthrough in electrostatic speaker design in over 60 years. We use the latest high precision CNC machining of aluminium parts to keep tolerances within 0.1mm to ensure absolutely perfect panel production coupled to state-of-the-art toroidal step-up transformer developments including rare cores and pure litz magnet wires. This results in an electrostatic speaker which is easy-to-drive with virtually horn efficiency and deep powerful non-box-boomy bass.
TAPE RECORDERS: The Squelette
After leading the renaissance of High End Open Reel Tape Recorders with the Tourbillon [reviewed by Jon Valin of TAS and declared “The Absolute Sound”] and Papillon machines, we have added the first dual-capstan “pinch-roller-less” machine – The Squelette, to our repertoire.
ELECTROSTATIC HEADPHONES and AMPLIFIER: The Ethereal Amplifier and X5 phones
No stranger to creating objects which never existed before, artist/engineer Kostas Metaxas has also managed to marry a Swiss Tourbillon [LePee] clock and offer it as a beautiful abstract moulage mannequin.
Inside the case are two entirely mono ultra-low-noise high voltage purely discrete and utterly balanced amplifiers dedicated to electrostatic headphones running at over 1000V peak-peak. The Bias voltage of 580V [standard for STAX, SENHEISSER and most electrostatic headphones] is absolutely ripple-free and running at high frequencies to avoid any interference with the delicate audio signals.
The head section can be offered as a “stand” to support the headphones when they aren’t in use, or in different configurations including a Tourbillon Clock version, a DAC [Digital to Analogue Converter] or in the near future, a full digital music streamer.
