At the Dubai Audio flagship showroom, two reference systems built around Piega Switzerland’s MLS platform are currently on demonstration—each exploring a distinct approach to scale, control, and musical presentation.
System One — Piega Switzerland MLS 2
Built around the Piega Switzerland MLS 2, this system focuses on precision, refinement, and balance.
Amplification is handled by dual Nagra Classic power amplifiers, paired with the Nagra Classic preamplifier. The digital front end is provided by dCS, known for its emphasis on timing accuracy and resolution.
The MLS 2’s aluminium cabinet construction and ribbon driver technology translate this chain into a presentation that is highly detailed yet composed, with a natural sense of flow and control.
System Two — Piega Switzerland MLS MKII
The second system is built around the Piega Switzerland MLS MKII, configured to explore greater scale and authority.
Electronics from Dan D’Agostino provide drive and control, complemented by digital sources from dCS. Analogue playback is handled by TechDAS, with a reel-to-reel from Revox.
