In addition to the traditional Moving Coil (MC) inputs, the R-x88 series is equipped with a dedicated input port and specialized power-supply/equalization circuitry for DS Audio optical cartridges. This allows users to connect optical cartridges directly to an Aavik amplifier system, extracting their full potential without the need for an external dedicated equalizer.
