George Harrison’s third studio LP, and his first following the break-up of The Beatles, today celebrates its 50th anniversary. ‘All Things Must Pass’ is George’s spiritual high, a true classic and unquestionably one of the greatest albums ever made. The album recording sessions began in late May 1970 at Abbey Road Studios. Phil Spector produced, with former Beatles’ engineers Ken Scott and Phil McDonald also present. Most of the album’s backing tracks were recorded onto eight-track tape at the studios, with the musicians normally playing live.
