Arteluthe, a loudspeakers manufacturer established in Montréal, Canada since 2011 is proud to introduce « Stiletto » a unique and novel design incorporating twin low frequency transducers in a unique Sealed transmission line, a quasi full range, amplifier-coupled (crossover less) transducer reproducing frequencies from 40 to 4000 Hz in a sealed cavity, augmented by high definition 1,2 in. silk dome tweeter.
The compact design (94 cm high) features an exceptional in-room bandwidth of 27Hz to 23 kHz.
Stiletto is build on a custom maple/birch composite plywood chassis dressed with totally decoupled, high mass panels, resting on a compliant alloy base, fitted with decoupled alloy footers. Stiletto promises “all the bass and none of the boom”, thanks to the ultra damped, ultra low Q (0,5) design of the sealed transmission line, forming a tapered tunnel filled with dacron fibers. Available in real polyester piano black on black Alcantara, Stiletto is entirely made in Canada.
Stiletto will be launched at the next Montréal Audiofest, March 27 to March 29 (room 2345), partnering with Kinki Studio electronics and Charisma Audio analog front end. Asian connaisseurs can audition Stiletto right now at Audio Exotics, Central Hong Kong.
