Acoustic Science Laboratory (AsciLAB) s a newly formed loudspeaker manufacturer based in Seoul, South Korea. With over twenty years of experience in acoustics and live sound, Changyeul Park and Jinsung Ko are developing measurement-led loudspeaker designs using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and their Klippel NFS system—creating some of the finest-measuring loudspeakers currently available.

Their mission: to deliver the highest possible sound quality at a reasonable price.

Every aspect of AsciLAB’s designs is carefully considered.

From the choice of enclosure material—ultra high-mass MDF (700 kg/m³)—resonance is further minimized through extensive internal bracing and vibration-damping mounting techniques for the woofer.
The tweeter features a proprietary waveguide design that ensures uniform high-frequency directivity while also enabling a low crossover point of 1.1 kHz. This allows for a closer center-to-center (CTC) distance between drivers, effectively reducing lobing errors.

The woofer and tweeter chosen for the C6B are aluminum-ceramic units from SB Acoustics.
AsciLAB has a roadmap of future releases, detailed here: Product Roadmap PDF
