It was interesting to hear the Avantgarde Acoustic DUO speakers again. Few days back I’ve quickly auctioned them with Audio Tekne integrated. DUO’s can have a slight forward nature even when paired with tube amplifiers. Yet, when tamed, they can transformed into the more relax and enjoyable perfomers. I’ve heard similar combination before, but reviving my listening impression just confirmed my initial thoughts.
