A delicate operation at Black Cat Cable production: annealed soft pure copper @ 36awg (0.005” / 0.127mm in diameter!) is braided around a double-Aeron dielectric. At the core is a Matrix braid over a 3mm cord. If the braider goes too fast, one of the copper leads will break and the machine will stop – so this is a fairly slow process.
