Bowers & Wilkins Nautilus began with a simple question: what if unwanted sound could be removed entirely? By inverting the traditional horn, we discovered a way to absorb rear radiation rather than amplify it. Each drive unit is loaded into a precisely calculated, tapering tube, where rear energy is progressively damped until it effectively disappears. This radical approach eliminated a major source of coloration and redefined what loudspeaker clarity could be.
