This is for sure more then interesting announcement. As Bryston stated how they will never crossover to the analog source making hell seems to freeze over :). So here we go… The all new Bryston BLP-1 turntable encompass some unique features and approaches…
Bryston BLP-1 Turntable comes with new tonearm featuring seven-segment titanium arm tube with integrated headshell, that is virtually immune to cantilever borne vibration. Belt drive with on-board PWM synchronous low speed / high torque motor achieves perfect belt tension and coupling to platter without added noise. Innovative hardened carbon-steel spindle and ultra hard bronze bearing is polished to 0.02mm tolerance and dense 35mm thick Delrin platter with integrated record mat damps non-musical vibration yet preserves incredible detail and unique vented plinth both eliminates platter turbulence and prevents the micro resonances to affect the cartridge.
Bryston BTP-1 is their propriety designed pulse width modulation power supply that controls BLP-1 motor and keeps at the exceptionally accurate 33-1/3 and 45 RPM.
