The Cartridgelab Clab Ebony Titanium phono cartridge is entirely handcrafted in the Cartridgelab laboratory in Rome. It is the result of extensive experience in cartridge restoration and repair, incorporating all the design elements necessary for an uncompromising cartridge.
The body is machined from solid titanium and hand-finished. It contains two rare earth magnets that generate a fully saturated and properly oriented magnetic field in which the coils move. The coils are hand-wound from the highest quality copper on a pure iron core. The front panel and contact plate support are made of ebony to eliminate unwanted resonances, as ebony is an excellent material for this purpose. The cantilever is made of solid diamond and fitted with a 3 × 70 micron MicroLine stylus, a top-quality Japanese product.

The result of this long project, spanning two years of research and experimentation, is a cartridge capable of high resolution and remarkable soundstage depth. Its greatest achievement is the elimination of hysteresis distortion, accomplished through a saturated magnetic field that enables natural sound and eliminates listening fatigue.
