Closer Acoustics flō + multiple Equalization curves

Here is more info about the Closer Acoustics flō MM/MC phono preamplifier. As many of you already guessed, it comes with the different EQ curves. Flō is designed with music on vinyl collectors in mind. Having build a collection of records spanning many decades back means that some of them were recorded well before the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) curve standard was introduced in 1954 as de facto global standard for vinyl recording. However until seventies other recording systems persisted.

Before the standard was set there were many many systems. Some were more important than others. Especially taking info account the power of the label and the recording company. While considering upgrades to previous all in one Phono preamplifier Stelvio, Closer Acoustics decided to add multiple Equalization curves in order to make possible to reproduce older records. As a result five equalization curves: NAB (National Association of Broadcasters), Columbia, DECCA, TELDEC/DIN and the standard RIAA Curves are available with Flō..
