The product that started it all or Conrad-Johnson Design. the Conrad-johnson preamplifier from 1977. Had no other model designation at the time, but retroactively referred to as the PV1.
You can see prototype photos of the conrad-johnson preamplifier (PV1), hand built by Lew Johnson (chassis formed from flat sheet of aluminum on a Lafayette hand brake) and PC boards made from photo-sensitive copper clad board.
