The story of Coturn began with an idea and a crowdfunding project by its inventor, Benjamin Großjohann. The first CT-01 marked the beginning of an exciting journey—one that was not always easy. Yet Coturn’s potential was unmistakable.
When Gunter Kürten, owner of THORENS, became aware of Coturn, it quickly became clear that this was an idea with a future. Driven by this shared conviction, Coturn by Thorens GmbH was founded—with the goal of further developing the original vision and taking Coturn to the next level under the Thorens umbrella.
Now, the next major step is just around the corner. On October 29, the CT-TWO will launch.
For Benjamin Großjohann and Kürten, this marks the final phase of an incredibly exciting journey together. We believe in our product and look forward to introducing Coturn to a wider audience.
