The latest information on the improvements made to DAVA Reference and what makes it different from the DAVA FC A1 standard.
1. the Reference model is wired with 002 wire (003 wire is used in the standard FCA1), which results in less moving mass (the sound seems silkier).
2. the new shape of the coils produces a more linear signal. Therefore, the music sounds more involving.
3. an additional torsion spring has been added (it provides a faster and more articulate sound.
4. newly designed body (commissioned project by one of the best industrial Lithuanian designers, M. Olsauskas) made of copper -the best sounding material for DAVA pickups.
5. cryo copper pins (provide a quieter sound compared to brass pins).
