Duelund Inductor

What you see here is not random texture. The distinctive Duelund honeycomb structure is formed by a layer of WPIO (wax-paper-in-oil) after our vacuum impregnation process. During impregnation, the oil saturates every layer of paper. As it settles and stabilises, the WPIO material naturally forms this cellular structure – a visible signature of full impregnation and mechanical damping.

No fillers. No shortcuts.

Just materials behaving exactly as physicsMaterial choice is the starting point. At Duelund Coherent Audio, conductor metals and natural dielectrics are selected for their mechanical and electrical behavior over time. Copper purity, paper density, and oil type directly influence stability, losses, and long-term consistency. Design begins with materials that behave predictably—everything else follows.
