Sometimes you’ve got that gut feeling and intuition about some high end audio product just from the specs, technical descriptions and images. You never really know, what to expect in reality, but its more then worthy to explore the inner hint. Dynamic Sounds Associates DSA Phono II is one of those products that got me intrigued and as it turning out, I’m more then happy with the first, hands (ear) on experience.
This highly configurable phono preamplifier with multitude of adjustments and three RCA/balanced inputs represent most highly potent analog gem with everything it offers. All the adjustments are logical, controls straightforward and most importantly, they are positioned on the front panel for the instant operating.
I know, I know. What most of you wants to hear is how it sounds!? After first initial listenings I can assure you, that DSA Phono II plays! This phono preamp sounds out of the box most captivating and highly involving with no traits of either solid state or tube poles.
