Esprit High End Audio, a French manufacturer of high-end cables for more than three decades, and a designer of loudspeakers for several years, is now undergoing a profound transformation.
After five years of evolution with Generation 9, research and development continued with the same uncompromising standards. Generation X represents the culmination of this work:
• The entire dielectric architecture has been redesigned to significantly improve perceived silence and reduce microphony effects.
• The connectors have also been completely reengineered, both in their geometry and in the choice of materials. Models from the Gaia and L’Esprit ranges now feature pure silver pins, while the other connectors use pure copper with optimized silver plating to ensure maximum stability and conductivity.
• High-frequency filtering has been reinforced through the integration of a new shielding architecture, providing improved control over interference.
In listening, these developments result in a more fluid presentation, a clearer soundstage with better instrument separation, and a more natural overall rendering.
