GAUDER AKUSTIK RIB CONSTRUCTION – ENGINEERED FOR DEEPER SILENCE, PRECISION, AND CONTROL

Gauder Akustik Rib Construction – Engineered for Deeper Silence, Precision, and Control

Loudspeaker drivers transfer part of their energy to the enclosure through the reactive forces generated by their moving components. When the enclosure begins to resonate, it can radiate sound of its own, delayed in time and adding energy that is no longer part of the original musical signal.

This is where Gauder Akustik rib construction makes the difference. Damping ribs are placed between the individual structural ribs of the enclosure, deliberately interrupting the transmission of vibrations. Depending on the series, the structural ribs are made from MDF in the Berlina series or aluminum in the DARC series.

The result is reduced enclosure coloration, a quieter, blacker soundstage, and greater precision across the entire frequency range, from deep bass to the highest treble.
