On the photo above is another batch of carbon fibre diaphragms ready for assembly into DDD drivers. The DDD driver is entirely built by hand by skilled technicians at the German Physiks factory in Maintal, Germany. After assembly, each driver undergoes a series of rigorous tests. It is then subject to a 96 hour preaging process, playing specially selected music at high level. Finally, it is retested and put together with another driver to form a matched pair.
