German Physiks HRS-120 SE loudspeakers in salon/private room at Shanghai exhibition organised by NC Audio. The HRS-120 SE is a custom version for the Chinese market of the earlier HRS-120 model. This set is finished in a high polish French walnut veneer on the cabinet sides, with black high polish polyester elsewhere.
The HRS-120 was replaced in standard range by the HRS-130. This features a larger woofer (10-inch) and a revised crossover. The HRS-120 SEs were driven by German Physiks Emperor integrated amplifier. This provides 2 x 300W RMS into 8 ohms, 2 x 600W RMS into 4 ohms and into 2 ohms just over 2 x 1,000W RMS into 2 ohms. Also in the system were ACCUSTIC ARTS Player 1 CD player and ACCUSTIC ARTS Tube Phono II phono stage.
