In vinyl, there is no single truth. There is the context of the recording. Gold Note PH-5.2 is born from this awareness, without imposing a sonic signature: it uses equalisation curves to respect the original recording; they are not meant to “correct” the sound, but to read it in the right way.
Because high-fidelity is not interpretation.
It is responsibility.
When the equalisation is correct, the record stops sounding different,
and simply becomes true.
Not all records are the same.
Neither should the curves be.
And this is not where the evolution of Line 5.2 ends. On 5 February, another new product will be unveiled.
