Graphite Audio, manufacturer of premium high-end audio accessories, has announced the commercial launch of the Enso Rack System. Following the successful introduction of the CLASSIC Isolation Platform line in 2023, development on a complete, integrated support solution began in 2024. The culmination of this intensive engineering effort, the Enso Rack System is an uncompromising architectural foundation designed specifically for ultra-high-end audio systems. The new flagship rack is making its official world debut at the upcoming Warsaw Audio Video Show this October.
Zero Metal, Zero Magnetism
Consistent with Graphite Audio’s core engineering principles, the Enso Rack System features a strictly 100% non-metallic and non-magnetic construction. Traditional rack designs often rely on metal parts and ceramic bearings, which can introduce subtle ringing or store unwanted kinetic energy. By entirely eliminating metal from the support chain, the Enso maintains a vanishingly low noise floor. This meticulous design choice is essential to delivering the signature Graphite Audio sound: a natural, strictly neutral presentation that accurately conveys the scale, emotion, and realism of a live performance.
The X-Frame and Platforms
The structural core of the Enso, including its signature X-frame and component platforms, is constructed from the same premium plywood utilized in the CLASSIC line. Crafted from meticulously bonded 0.5mm micro-veneers, this high-density composite provides excellent structural rigidity while acting as a highly effective, broad-band resonance dissipator.
For the next level of sonic performance, the standard wood platforms can be optionally equipped with the ULTRA board, precision-machined from Graphite Audio’s famous proprietary acoustic polymer.
Advanced Load-Bearing Architecture
Supporting reference-grade electronics requires a robust foundation. The Enso is engineered to seamlessly accommodate structural loads of up to 100kg (220 lbs) per platform. To achieve this safely while effectively managing mechanical energy transfer, the massive pillars are constructed from an advanced structural polymer chosen specifically for its acoustic absorption properties.
Rather than reflecting mechanical energy back into the chassis of the equipment, this material acts as an acoustic sink, providing a highly stable, exceptionally quiet environment. This profound silence allows your components to reveal their true capabilities—unleashing natural dynamics, delicate micro-details, and the breathtaking realism of the music, completely free from mechanical coloration.
Future Upgradability
The Enso Rack System is designed to evolve alongside reference systems. In 2027, in addition to the current ULTRA board platform upgrade, Graphite Audio will introduce specialized spikes crafted from its signature proprietary polymer. Designed as a direct upgrade to the rack’s load-bearing system, these spikes will offer an additional pathway for audiophiles to further refine their listening experience.
