Innuos writes: What can Gallium Nitride – GaN technology – do for sound quality? A lot, really. This is why Innuos in-house research and development team has designed the NGaN Power Supply for the new ZEN Next-Gen and ZENith Next-Gen music servers and streamers – marking the first-ever use of GaN technology within the Innuos product line.

Innuos NGaN Regulation is a cutting-edge Gallium Nitride rectification stage that runs cool and does not require a heatsink to dissipate heat. It allows much lower impedance compared to previous designs thanks to a specifically tuned frequency, resulting in a significant impact on audio transparency, realism, and separation of voices and instruments.
Inside the ZEN Next-Gen you find an Innuos NGaN Regulator enhancing the RECAP2 linear power modules together with a 150VA Toroidal Transformer. On the ZENith Next-Gen you have a combination of the trickled-down version of the ARC6 Active Rectification board with a 300VA Audio Grade Transformer, high-performance choke, and over 130000uF of Mundorf capacitors together with the Innuos NGaN Regulator.
Both ZEN Next-Gen and ZENith Next-Gen can be used as servers or streamers, are available in silver and black, and take advantage of special Sense 3 benefits.
As part of its flexible design, the ZEN Next-Gen can be upgraded to ZENith Next-Gen specification to benefit from its superior PSU, SSD, and processing.
