Fresh from a show in the UK, the Innuos PULSAR will be heard this weekend at the second Pacific Audio Fest alongside the flagship Innuos STATEMENT with Next-Gen PSU, and PhoenixNET Audiophile Network Switch. Held at the Doubletree Hilton Sea-Tac hotel in Washington state from 23 – 25 June 2023, Pacific Audio Fest features over 200 exhibitors with systems ranging from entry level to over a million dollars.
“Innuos will be in Presidential Suite 1370 running demonstrations with their Sense app using the new innuOS Operating System 2.4 announced last month.
PULSAR is the top tier of three network music players from Innuos that include PULSEmini, PULSE and PULSAR; each are perfect for music lovers who mostly want to play music from HiFi streaming services like Qobuz, TIDAL and Highresaudio, or who just want another zone in their home connected to their main music server.
The award-winning STATEMENT is the flagship Innuos music server/streamer. The Next-Gen PSU version has been dazzling audiences at shows and in homes since its introduction in 2022 and remains a state-of-the-art source for the most discerning audiophiles.
Both sources will be using the new InnuOS 2.4 Operating System, introduced last month, which features support for the Highresaudio streaming service. The new OS also includes multi-album selection to play a mix, add to queue, play next, add to playlist, set as compilation, and set as multiformat. It can also merge artists, filter selected artists by genre and even splits album tracks. Details about innuOS 2.4 can be found on the Innsights Blog.
The Innuos demonstration system will stream through the Innuos PhoenixNET audiophile-grade network switch to the Innuos PULSAR and STATEMENT with Next-Gen PSU for playback through either source. An Audio Research DAC9 will serve as the DAC, while their Reference 6SE Line-Stage preamp and two Reference 160M mono amps drive a pair of Acora Acoustics VRC speakers to render the sound to the room. Power conditioning and cables will be provided by Cardas, and an Acora rack will house the components. Acoustic Sciences’ ASC room treatment will control acoustics.
Visitors will be able to choose music using the Innuos Sense app, and hear it streamed direct to the system.
Innuos products can also be heard at partner rooms including Wells Audio (Suite 1363), Spatial Audio (Room 1376) and Olson’s HiFi (Room 7101).
Kevin Jackson, US Sales Manager and Steven Gomes, Head of Sales, will be on hand to demonstrate and answer your questions.”
