Here is the latest photo of our friend and music collaborator Claude Lemaire’s Jazz History thematic “vinyl wall”. Now on the way to the 1930s in Kansas City with Count Basie. A mix of first press Columbia, Roulette, and Verve first releases and some Classic Records Roulette reissues in the bottom row. As you can see on the second photo, they are still all Count Basie LPs, but these represent his last period signed with Pablo Records, recorded between 1974 and 1983, just one year prior to his death.
