Jenny Abel, who was born in the German coastal town of Husum in the same house as the poet and novelist Theodor Storm, made her debut at the age of six and studied under Max Rostal and Henryk Szeryng. First and only made in Germany on Harmonia Mundi HM 30 342/43 stereo pressing from 1971. In this record Jenny Abel plays the Brahms three Sonatas for violin accompanied by Leonard Hokanson at the piano.
